1   Download GeneralUser GS into a temporary directory.

            NOTE! If you downloaded GeneralUser GS 1.4 from another website, but only got the .SF2 file,
            click here to download the supplemental files (recommended).

 2   For Windows, simply double-click GUGS_v1_4_rp1.exe and it will extract its contents to the folder of your choice.  It is recommended to extract the files to their own folder, such as C:\SoundFonts\GeneralUser GS.  Installation instructions are included within the archive.  For other OS's, use your favorite unzip program to extract the files; a folder called GeneralUser GS will be automatically created.
